No official rolling McKinley County 24-hour release feed was located in the county channels reviewed on July 29, 2026. The McKinley County Adult Detention Center page, its detention Quick Links, and the county site map publish operational material, but none provides a jail roster, recent-release list, booking feed, photo feed, or detention app. There is therefore no verified feed URL, public update schedule, list of online fields, or stated archive period.
This is a finding about the public website, not the jail's internal records. MCADC must track release dates for its own work. The county FAQ, for example, makes a former detainee wait 90 days after release before visiting someone in custody. That rule does not turn the FAQ into a release search. Check McKinley 24-Hour Releases
Start with the last physical custodian and the agency that placed the person there. MCADC houses county detainees and also contracts beds to federal, state, local, and tribal agencies. A person can leave the building for the community, New Mexico Corrections Department custody, Navajo custody, a federal transfer, or another jail. Each path looks the same if the only fact is that the person is no longer at Boardman Drive.
- Gather the full name, aliases, birth date if known, approximate booking date, and the court or arresting agency.
- Call MCADC at 505-979-7224. Ask whether the person remains there and where a booking or release-record inquiry should go.
- Search New Mexico Courts Case Lookup for a release order, bond action, dismissal, sentence, or other disposition.
- Check the specific person through VINELink after choosing New Mexico, subject to the service notice in effect that day.
- If MCADC reports a transfer, follow the named receiving system instead of labeling the move a community release.
- Request the existing release or movement entry for the exact same-day interval when phone and online checks do not settle the question.
The court record and jail entry answer different parts of the event. A judge's order shows legal authority to release. The jail entry shows when staff finished the physical discharge or transfer. Release terms need care. Personal recognizance and conditions of release mean the case can remain open after the person leaves. Time served usually marks the end of the custodial part calculated for that matter. A move to NMCD, federal, tribal, immigration, or another county custody is not freedom from custody.
Request McKinley Same-Day Releases
A day-bounded inquiry should use the McKinley County public-records route. Describe an existing log, not a custom 24-hour list. A useful interval is “12:00 a.m. through 11:59 p.m. Mountain Time” on the date in question. Ask only for the non-exempt fields that already exist, such as booked name, booking number, release date and time, release reason or code, and destination agency. The county request form states that records should be available at once or as soon as practical. If they are not available within three business days, the custodian should provide written timing. McKinley Release or Transfer
A still-in-custody search and a released-person check are not the same task. Someone still at MCADC may be confirmed by the facility. Getting Home After McKinley Release
Release-day transportation requires direct checks. MCADC has not published fixed release times, an exit point, family waiting rules, property-return timing, or a jail ride service. Gallup Express publishes a scheduled point at West Aztec and Boardman, near the jail's South Boardman Drive location. Its materials list a $3 cash day fare with all-day transfers. They also describe a paid quarter-mile route deviation that must be arranged in advance.
No official source says MCADC provides the fare, schedules a deviation, or ensures that a person is discharged in time for a bus. Call Gallup Express at 505-722-0777 to confirm the route. Call MCADC for current exit instructions before anyone travels to wait. These checks matter because an estimated release time may shift while staff complete orders, property, transport, or transfer work.

McKinley Pretrial Release Records
McKinley Pretrial Services supports the Gallup District and Magistrate Courts. The program began service in May 2022 after implementation work started in 2021. Its assessments give judges factual information and presumptive release levels for setting individual conditions. That work can help explain why a same-day release was authorized, but Pretrial Services is not a public custody search or a substitute for the MCADC release entry.
A pretrial release also is not a dismissal or completion of sentence. The criminal case remains open unless the court enters a separate disposition. Review the docket for the release order and its conditions, then obtain the jail record for the actual time the person left. Why McKinley Shows No List
The absence of a McKinley County 24-hour page is itself a local data fact. The official ADC page, its Quick Links set, and the county site map expose no roster, release window, photograph feed, or detention app. They also publish no cadence or retention policy for an online list. A commercial page with “McKinley roster” in its title does not become a county source.
